A day filled with rain but the day had to proceed. Thabelo and Patricia’s Wedding so beautiful despite the rain. We left Johannesburg for Mokopane at 3am to be able to make it on time for the bridal preparations. We travelled with rain but still made it on time.
The bride’s home was quite a buzz. You could feel the atmosphere and that people anticipated a good wedding. The morning was a bit of a rush like all morning weddings are. There was also travelling of about 68km to the ceremony venue.
We were suppose to have a garden wedding but unfortunately the rain decided otherwise. This caused a minor delay but there was no compromise in the beauty of the wedding as the rearrangement looked so good.
Part of the reason the venue was chosen was because of the greenery. Unfortunately the rain wiped away any possibility of us utilising that greenery. Ultimately we had to make something out of nothing while shooting indoors. We are pretty happy with what we were able to come up with.
The decor is amongst the most beautiful we have come across. You can see a lot of planning went onto it and that no compromise was made.
We headed back home for the reception and even the wet roads couldn’t deter anything as the parade continued and the wedding proceeded as planned.
Although the rain washed out the rest of the day we were able to take a few pics of traditional outfit. would have been such a waste had we not able to do so. It was a lovely wedding not even the rain can take that away. Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Makananise
